The Cow...

...was just chillin'. Sometimes it's like that. I'm not exactly sure why or how cows escape from barbed-wire enclosures to wander the (somewhat populated) streets, but it seems to be just one of those things that happens.

(And other times, you can't even drive a car down the road because an entire contingent of cows is blocking your path--but usually somebody's herding those cows into another field. Again, for what reason, I don't rightly know. Exercise?)

Ah, Costa Rica, how I miss thee...

Could make for an interesting scene in an RS. :)

Personally, I think that this particular cow was percipient enough to see that his fifteen minutes of fame were at hand, and thus decided to escape his bonds and mosey across the street in order to catch the eye of the glamorous young writer wielding a pen in one hand and a machete in the other while VOIPing her agent and squeeing loudly to the world at large.

And he clearly succeeded in his quest, as he (I assume it's a he, correct me if I'm wrong) is now the most famous cow on the Internet. I hope you took a picture, so he can be duly enshrined in the Bovine Hall of Fame...?

Well, you know what they say about moving on to greener pastures, and you may have seen those famous pictures of cows eating grass . . .

Congratulations again on your super news, Erica. (And 48 phones? Mayhap that explains the big phone bill :))
